An interaktive and multimedia installation presenting the life and work of the composer Franz Liszt and his friends from Bratislava.


The project presents the V4 countries by means of photographs from four outstanding artists: Magdalena Ciszewska Rzasa (Poland), Zsuzsanna Kemenesi (Hungary), Robo Kočan (Slovakia) and David Cysař (Czech Republic).

The exhibition takes place on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the artist´s birth and offers a cross section through his oeuvre in the fields of painting and graphic.

The exhibition answers all possible questions about cultural heritage and inducts the visitors into the secrets of restoration, cataloguing, digitalisation and conservation.

In a room to their liking, children can become interior designer, mother in the kitchen, father-tinkerer or just themselves.

In cooperation with the Japanese Embassy.

The exhibition shows representations of ancient Greek and Roman goddesses and Christian saints from the period 1780 - 1918.

Miloslav Hanzel´s Collection ranks among the most important private collections of classical and modern visual arts in Slovakia. It contains works by M. Benka, M. A. Bazovský, J. Alexy, M. Galanda, M. Paštéka, M. Laluha, R. Krivoš, O. Rudavský, V. Kompánek and others.

The Knights´ Hall of the Bratislava Castle is the venue of the new exhibition The Reconstruction of the Bratislava Castle. The exhibition tells of the events of the 20th century, the historical background, the reconstruction of the castle, the archaeological and architectural research, as well as of the personalities who played an important role in preserving the historical monument.
